This degree provides a foundation in music for students interested pursuing a career in the musical entertainment industry or pursuing a baccalaureate degree in Music. Students will select one of two music emphases: Instrumental or Vocal. To fulfill the requirements for this degree, students will complete the required courses and work with a counselor to determine the appropriate pattern of general education courses based on the student’s individual educational goals. Students are urged to take private instruction along with class lesson in their specialization each semester.
